The Art of Illumination... The Gilded Letter
An art form originally found in books handwritten by monks in medieval times, these letters were the first letter of the first word of a chapter and decorated in gold, rich colors, designs and miniature art work. In this workshop you will learn to create an illuminated letter by applying gold leaf and water colors.
