Genesee Pottery

The largest ceramics studio space with the most comprehensive programs and facilities in the Rochester area. Wheel throwing, handbuilding, techniques, surface decoration - our classes and workshops are outstanding. More than 30 hours per week of open studio time for students and, with 24 hour access available to our Artists-in-Residence and renters, our service is unparalleled in the region.

Community Darkroom

Community access photographic facilities for students, professionals, serious amateurs, artists and anyone interested in pursuing the craft of photography.

The only such facility in Rochester, our black and white darkrooms, lighting studios, vintage process lab, digital photography labs and workspaces provide an array of services and programs unmatched in Rochester!

Printing & Book Arts Center

Our comprehensive series of classes includes letterpress printing, bookbinding, book arts, paper making and calligraphy. Access to a vast array of tools, type and talent allow artists and enthusiasts to be retro, vintage, cutting edge and modern – all at once!
